Responsibilities
- Prepare food items efficiently while adhering to food safety and sanitation standards
- Operate POS systems such as Aloha POS and Micros POS to process transactions accurately
- Provide friendly customer service by taking orders, answering questions, and upselling menu items to enhance sales
- Handle cash transactions with precision, including cash handling and basic math calculations
- Maintain cleanliness by bussing tables, cleaning workstations, and ensuring proper sanitation throughout the shift
- Assist with food handling, packaging, and serving to ensure timely delivery of orders
- Support team members in food preparation, stocking supplies, and maintaining the overall restaurant or café environment
Qualifications
- Previous experience in food preparation or food service is preferred; experience in quick service or fast-food restaurants is a plus
- Familiarity with POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS is advantageous
- Strong time management skills to handle multiple tasks efficiently during busy night shifts
- Excellent customer service skills with a positive attitude and effective communication abilities
- Ability to perform basic math calculations related to sales, cash handling, and retail math
- Knowledge of food safety standards, sanitation procedures, and proper food handling techniques
- Experience working in a restaurant, café, grocery store, or retail environment is beneficial
- Ability to stand for extended periods and work in a fast-paced setting during night hours
