Job Description: Busser / Food Runner
Position Summary:
The Busser / Food Runner supports the service team by maintaining clean and organized dining areas and delivering food efficiently from the kitchen to guests. This role plays a key part in ensuring smooth service and an excellent dining experience.
Responsibilities:
- Clear, clean, and reset tables promptly
- Deliver food from kitchen to tables quickly and accurately
- Ensure food is presented correctly and matches guest orders
- Refill water glasses and assist with condiments or bread service
- Maintain cleanliness of dining room, service stations, and restrooms
- Assist servers by transporting dishes, glassware, and utensils to dish area
- Communicate with kitchen and servers regarding food timing and special requests
- Restock supplies including napkins, silverware, plates, and cups
- Prepare tables for incoming guests
- Follow all health, safety, and sanitation standards
- Support team members during peak service times
- Complete side work and other duties as assigned by management
Qualifications:
- Ability to work in a fast-paced restaurant environment
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
- Attention to detail and cleanliness
- Ability to stand, walk, and lift items throughout shift
- Prior restaurant experience preferred but not required
- Ability to handle hot plates and work safely in a busy kitchen environment
Job Types: Full-time, Part-time, Temporary
Pay: $13.00 - $15.00 per hour
