Overview
We are seeking a highly skilled CNC 5 Axis Machinist to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will operate and program advanced 5-axis CNC mill-turn machines to produce complex, high-precision parts. Your expertise will ensure the highest standards of quality and efficiency in manufacturing processes, supporting our commitment to excellence across multiple high-tech industries.
Responsibilities
- Set up and operate 5-axis CNC mill-turn machines with Fanuc controls, ensuring precise machining of complex parts.
- Program CNC machines using CAM programming software, translating technical drawings into accurate machine instructions.
- Read and interpret blueprints, GD&T (Geometric Dimensioning & Tolerancing), and technical specifications to meet exact tolerances.
- Perform routine maintenance and troubleshooting on CNC equipment to maximize uptime and productivity.
- Use precision measuring instruments such as calipers, micrometers, bore gauges, and coordinate measuring machines (CMM) to verify part accuracy.
- Select and install appropriate tooling and fixtures for machining operations.
- Maintain detailed documentation of machining processes, inspections, and quality control reports.
Experience
- Proven experience operating 5-axis CNC milling machines with Fanuc controls in a manufacturing environment.
- Strong background in CNC programming, including CAM software proficiency.
- Solid understanding of blueprint reading, GD&T principles, and mechanical drawings.
- Familiarity with electrical discharge machining (EDM) processes is a plus.
- Knowledge of plastics injection molding, welding, assembly, and the use of hand tools and power tools is advantageous.
- Experience with lean manufacturing principles to optimize workflow and reduce waste.

Pay: $32.00 - $36.24 per hour
