Job description
Looking for a Medical Assistant to start immediately. Position is full time Monday – Friday 9am -6 pm as well as Saturday rotations. Some weekends may be required. This is a multi-location practice, and some travel may be required according to need for coverage.
Job duties will include:
Answering phone calls.
Answering questions and charting all information and communications.
Assist providers during in office consultations and procedures.
Stock and prepare rooms with office and medical supplies.
Taking vital signs and drawing blood.

Summary
As an Orthopedic Medical Assistant, you will be integral to providing high-quality patient care and administrative support within our orthopedic department. Reporting to the orthopedic physician, your core skills in patient service, medical terminology, and EMR systems will be essential in managing patient intake, scheduling appointments, and monitoring vital signs. Your bilingual communication skills will enhance patient interactions, while your familiarity with hospital settings and basic life support will ensure a safe and efficient environment. Experience:
- Medical Assistant: 1 year (Preferred)

Requirements:
Experience with heavy phone volume and ability to triage calls
Excel, Microsoft, and Word proficient
Must be punctual and reliable
Bilingual in English and Spanish
EMR systems proficient
Professional clinical setting experience
