Responsibilities
- Provide executive administrative support by managing calendars, scheduling appointments, and coordinating meetings for attorneys and legal teams.
- Conduct thorough legal research using Westlaw, LexisNexis, and other legal research tools to support case development across multiple practice areas including estate planning, environmental law, family law, and securities law.
- Draft, review, and proofread legal documents such as contracts, pleadings, memos, and correspondence with precision and attention to detail.
- Organize and maintain electronic and physical case files using document management systems like iManage and PCLaw to ensure easy retrieval and compliance with recordkeeping standards.
- Assist in document review, data entry, and file management tasks related to litigation cases, personal injury claims, workers’ compensation cases, and more.
- Support attorneys with client interviews by preparing questionnaires, documenting case details accurately, and managing follow-up communications.
- Manage incoming calls with professional phone etiquette while prioritizing urgent matters and maintaining organized workflows.
- Perform administrative duties such as filing documents with courts or agencies, proofreading legal materials, transcribing dictations, and handling general clerical tasks to keep the office running smoothly.
Qualifications
- Proven paralegal experience or legal administrative experience supporting multiple practice areas including estate planning, environmental law, immigration law, landlord-tenant law, family law, securities law, patent law, tribal law & regulations, or litigation.
- Strong knowledge of legal research tools such as Westlaw and LexisNexis; familiarity with litigation procedures is highly desirable.
- Experience working with case management software like PCLaw or iManage; proficiency in document review and management systems is essential.
- Excellent organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
- Exceptional writing skills for drafting legal documents; keen proofreading abilities to ensure accuracy in all materials.
- Strong interviewing skills for client intake processes; ability to handle sensitive information discreetly.
- Proficiency in data entry, filing systems (both electronic and paper), and general clerical tasks such as phone etiquette and document transcription.
- Knowledge of UCC law (Uniform Commercial Code), securities regulations, tribal laws & regulations is a plus; familiarity with project management principles is beneficial.

Pay: $18.02 - $20.13 per hour
