Responsibilities
- Greet guests warmly and provide attentive, friendly service throughout their visit
- Take accurate food and beverage orders using POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS, ensuring clarity and completeness
- Serve food, beverages, and cocktails efficiently while maintaining high standards of presentation and safety
- Upsell menu items including wines, spirits, and specialty cocktails to enhance guest satisfaction and increase sales
- Process cash and credit card transactions accurately, handling cash handling responsibilities with integrity
- Maintain cleanliness and sanitation standards by bussing tables, resetting dining areas, and adhering to food safety protocols
- Assist with food preparation or food handling tasks as needed in a fast-paced kitchen environment
Qualifications
- Proven experience in food service or restaurant environments, preferably with high-volume settings
- Strong knowledge of POS systems such as Toast for reservations and sales processing
- Excellent customer service skills with a friendly, energetic attitude that fosters guest relations
- Ability to manage time effectively in a busy setting while multitasking between serving, upselling, and cleaning duties
- Knowledge of wine, spirits, cocktail preparation, and beverage service standards
- Basic math skills for processing transactions accurately and managing tabs efficiently
- Food safety certification or knowledge of sanitation practices within the food industry is preferred
- Previous experience in culinary settings or kitchen environments is a plus but not required
