Job Overview
We are seeking a dynamic and compassionate Evening Group Facilitator specializing in Mental Health to join our dedicated clinical team. In this role, you will provide engaging group therapy sessions and individual support to clients experiencing a range of mental health challenges. Your expertise will help foster a safe, supportive environment where clients can work toward their recovery goals, develop coping skills, and improve overall well-being. This position offers an exciting opportunity to make a meaningful difference in the lives of diverse populations, including children, adolescents, and adults, during evening hours when many clients seek support.
Responsibilities
Facilitate group therapy in a safe and supportive environment.
Ensure timely documentation.
Collaborative with the team to effectively ensure client well-being.
Provide supportive resources to clients.
Manage clinical/ client crisis.
Maintain confidentiality and ethical standards.
Skills
Proficient in medical records management.
Strong understanding of behavioral health principles and practices.
Experience working in the field of mental health. Preferably partial-care/ psychiatric day treatment.
Excellent crisis intervention skills with the ability to remain calm under pressure.
Knowledge of various psychotherapy techniques tailored to diverse populations.
Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, for effective workplace and client interaction.
Ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team environment.
Commitment to ongoing professional development and the companies mission.
Ability to create a welcoming environment.
Qualifications
Background in psychology, social work, counseling/ related field (bachelor’s degree at minimal) License in social work, counseling, marriage and family therapy, or substance use, (i.e. LICSW, LMHC, LMFT, and/ or similar licensure) license preferred but not required
Experience facilitating behavioral health groups
2 years experience at minimum required in the field
ASAM and DSM experience and knowledge
Demonstrated computer and communication proficiency

Pay: $30.00 - $40.00 per hour
