We are seeking a Medical Assistant preferably but not limited to with a background in Otolaryngology. We would like for this medical assistant to be interested in becoming an Audio tech who will perform audiograms when needed. Schooling and training will be paid for. The ideal candidate will have experience transcribing medical notes, patient history gathering and working with patients in a medical setting. He or she will be comfortable working alongside other medical professionals and has prior experience assisting doctors during operating procedures. The successful candidate for this position will be a team player who is well-organized, detail-orientated and able to work in a fast-paced environment.
Responsibilities:
- Explain information to patients and their families in a manner that they can understand.
- Administer prescribed medications or treatments according to proper protocol.
- Prepare examination tables and instruments.
- Prepare patient rooms for examinations and treatments.
- Provide general medical assistance to patients and staff.,Manage patient medical records.
- Must be bilingual in Spanish and English
