We are looking for a skilled Maintenance Supervisor to manage maintenance functions in a fast-paced, automated manufacturing and distribution setting. In this position, you will manage routine maintenance tasks, improve equipment performance, implement preventive maintenance strategies, and promote a workplace culture centered on safety and ongoing operational refinement.
Role Overview
You will be responsible for managing technicians and sanitation staff, organizing repair schedules, mentoring team members, and maintaining high facility standards by utilizing a computerized maintenance management system (CMMS).
Key Duties

Direct the day-to-day operations of the maintenance and sanitation staff to ensure peak performance.

Verify that all machinery is utilized, serviced, and fixed in alignment with manufacturer guidelines and industry standards.

Create and implement predictive and preventive maintenance schedules to help improve overall equipment availability and reliability.

Diagnose and manage repairs for automated systems, including conveyors, cranes, refrigeration units, fire safety equipment, and facility infrastructure.

Reduce operational interruptions by planning maintenance tasks efficiently and addressing equipment malfunctions promptly.

Track departmental metrics against defined KPIs, budgetary constraints, and operational targets.

Foster a clean and orderly work environment by providing strong oversight of sanitation operations.

Guarantee that all maintenance tasks are performed securely and in accordance with regulatory standards and internal policies.

Collaborate with external vendors, contractors, and manufacturers to facilitate equipment service and staff training.

Offer mentorship, instruction, and professional growth opportunities to members of the maintenance department.

Document all maintenance activities, work orders, and reports accurately within the CMMS.

Contribute to operational improvement projects designed to boost efficiency, reliability, and total equipment output.

Qualifications

Over 8 years of experience in maintenance within automated, distribution, or manufacturing environments.

Prior experience in a leadership capacity, such as a supervisor, team lead, or manager.

Demonstrated expertise in diagnosing and fixing automated machinery and material handling systems.

Background in the upkeep of robotics, palletizers, cranes, conveyors, or similar automated equipment.
Required Competencies

Advanced skills in troubleshooting electrical, mechanical, and electromechanical systems.

Practical experience with PLC platforms, specifically Siemens and Allen-Bradley.

Proficiency in using CMMS tools to organize, schedule, and report on maintenance activities.

Capability to analyze and comprehend technical, mechanical, and electrical documentation.
Preferred Qualifications

A technical associate degree is preferred, though not mandatory.

Relevant industrial, electrical, or maintenance certifications are highly valued.
