Our practice is proud to bring together a diverse team of professionals, including a psychiatrist, nurse practitioners, licensed clinical social workers (LCSWs), and marriage and family therapists (MFT’s), all working together to provide comprehensive, whole-person care to our patients. ABOUT US:
Delve Psychiatry was founded in 2020 when John Reitano, MD relocated from Philadelphia, Pennsylvania to Las Vegas to establish a comprehensive mental health practice. Dr. Reitano is a board-certified general psychiatrist with extensive expertise in:
- Psychotherapy & Psychopharmacology
- Post-Traumatic Stress Disorder (PTSD)
- Affective Disorders & Substance Use
- Interventional psychiatry using function MRI guided TMS and Ketamine treatments to treat a wide range of mental health symptoms.
Dr. Reitano trained at The University of Pennsylvania, where he also held the distinction of Associate Clinical Professor. Over his 30-year career, he has treated private patients, community mental health clinic patients, and couples and families in Family Therapy. His breadth of experience includes:
- Forensic Psychiatry (civil and criminal cases, including death penalty matters)
- Work in prisons and juvenile detention centers
- Inpatient hospital settings (adolescent and adult treatment, crisis intervention, and consultation-liaison work)
- Executive Coaching
We are centrally located in Las Vegas' Medical District in a wellappointed, professional office space. Our team is small, supportive, creative, and deeply engaged with the work we do.
EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE & LICENSING:
- Current licensure, in good standing, in state of Nevada
- Minimum of 1-year post-licensure experience
- Must be able to be sensitive to cultural and bilingual issues
- Good written and verbal communication skills required
- Must have valid Driver's license and a positive driving record

Candidates Will Be Regarded More Favorably If They Possess:
- Experience providing direct clinical care to active-duty military personnel, reservists, National Guard members, veterans, or military families
- Familiarity with military culture, terminology, and the unique stressors associated with military service (e.g., deployment, combat exposure, moral injury, military sexual trauma, transition challenges)
- Training or certification in evidence-based, military-focused treatment modalities, including:
- Prolonged Exposure Therapy (PE)
- Cognitive Processing Therapy (CPT)
- Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR)
- Seeking Safety
- Motivational Interviewing (MI)
Prior work experience in settings such as:
- VA Medical Centers or Vet Centers
- Military treatment facilities (MTFs)
- Community-based organizations serving veterans
- Department of Defense (DoD) affiliated programs
- Knowledge of military-related mental health conditions, including PTSD, Traumatic Brain Injury (TBI), Military Sexual Trauma (MST), depression, anxiety, and substance use disorders within a military context

ESSENTIAL RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Provide psychosocial and cognitive rehabilitation services designed to improve or maintain clients' emotional stability and functional capacity
- Conduct evaluations/problem identification, crisis interventions, and individual and family therapy
- Develop progressive and adaptable treatment plans tailored to each client's evolving needs
- Work independently and flexibly, adapting quickly to changing clinical situations, while collaborating with rest of treatment team
- Maintain accurate, timely clinical documentation consistent with practice standards
- Demonstrate a clear understanding of HIPAA, confidentiality, and professional boundaries
- Actively participate in professional development and continuing education sessions
- Perform additional duties as assigned by clinical leadership
