Position Overview
Blanksma Chiropractic Clinic is seeking a compassionate, organized, and detail-oriented Patient Care Coordinator to join our team. As the first point of contact for our patients, you will play a vital role in coordinating care, ensuring a seamless patient experience, and supporting the clinical team through exceptional communication, organization, and administrative excellence.

Primary ResponsibilitiesPatient Experience
- Greet and welcome patients in a friendly and professional manner.
- Create a positive, caring experience from check-in through check-out.
- Build strong relationships with patients while maintaining confidentiality and professionalism.
- Answer phones, respond to patient inquiries, and assist with scheduling needs.
Scheduling & Care Coordination
- Schedule new and existing patient appointments efficiently.
- Coordinate provider schedules to maximize patient flow.
- Manage appointment confirmations, recalls, cancellations, and waitlists.
- Assist patients with treatment plans and ongoing appointment scheduling.
Insurance & Financial Coordination
- Verify insurance eligibility and benefits.
- Obtain prior authorizations and referrals when required.
- Review patient insurance coverage and communicate benefits clearly.
- Collect copays, deductibles, balances, and process patient payments.
- Assist with insurance documentation and communication with carriers.
Administrative Responsibilities
- Maintain accurate electronic health records.
- Scan and organize patient documentation.
- Prepare daily schedules and assist providers with administrative needs.
- Process referrals and coordinate communication with other healthcare providers.
- Maintain an organized and efficient front office.
Team Support
- Work closely with doctors and clinical staff to ensure excellent patient care.
- Assist with office projects and daily operational tasks.
- Help maintain a clean, welcoming, and professional office environment.
- Contribute to a positive team culture focused on patient-centered care.
Qualifications
- Excellent customer service and interpersonal skills.
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Exceptional attention to detail and organizational abilities.
- Ability to multitask and prioritize in a fast-paced healthcare environment.
- Comfortable learning electronic health record (EHR) software and office technology.
- Previous medical office, chiropractic, dental, or healthcare experience is preferred but not required.
- Insurance verification or medical billing experience is a plus.

Pay: $18.00 - $22.00 per hour
