Job Summary
We are seeking a proactive and skilled Maintenance Technician to join our dynamic team. In this vital role, you will be responsible for ensuring the optimal operation, maintenance, and repair of mechanical, electrical, and plumbing systems across our facilities. Your expertise will help maintain a safe, efficient, and comfortable environment for all staff and visitors. Responsibilities
- Perform routine inspections and preventative maintenance on HVAC systems, refrigeration units, kitchen equipment, and mechanical systems to ensure optimal performance.
- Troubleshoot and repair appliances, HVAC/R systems, refrigeration units, and mechanical equipment using schematics and technical manuals.
- Install new appliances, HVAC components, and mechanical systems following manufacturer specifications and safety standards.
- Conduct repairs on mechanical systems including air conditioning units, ventilation systems, plumbing fixtures, and kitchen appliances.
- Operate company vehicles safely for on-site repairs or equipment deliveries as needed.
- Maintain detailed records of maintenance activities, repairs performed, and parts used in compliance with operational procedures.
- Collaborate with team members to identify areas for improvement and implement effective solutions to prevent future issues.
Qualifications
- Proven experience as a service technician with a strong background in appliance repair, HVAC system repair, refrigeration, or mechanical systems repair.
- Knowledge of schematics, technical manuals, and HVAC & appliance technology is essential.
- Demonstrated ability to perform appliance installation and maintenance tasks efficiently.
- Strong mechanical knowledge with experience in maintenance, repair, and operations (MRO).
- Construction experience or familiarity with building systems is a plus.
- Excellent customer service skills with the ability to communicate technical information clearly.
- Valid driver’s license with experience operating company vehicles safely.
- Leadership qualities that support teamwork and problem-solving under pressure.
