Job Description
Traveling Sweet Carts is looking for reliable, friendly, and hardworking Event Catering Attendants to join our team. We provide specialty dessert carts for weddings, corporate events, birthdays, and other celebrations throughout Northern California.
This is a part-time/on-call position with most events taking place on weekends and evenings. Hours will vary depending on our event schedule.
Responsibilities:
- Travel to scheduled event locations
- Must be willing to drive to Sacramento, San Francisco, San Jose, and surrounding areas
- Arrive on time and professionally dressed for each event
- Assist with loading, unloading, setup, and breakdown of our dessert carts
- Prepare and serve churros, beignets, and other desserts according to company standards
- Provide friendly and professional customer service to guests
- Keep the cart and serving area clean, organized, and presentable throughout the event
- Restock supplies as needed during service
- Follow food safety and sanitation procedures
- Help clean equipment and pack everything properly after each event
- Communicate with management regarding arrival, event details, and any issues that may arise
Requirements:
- Reliable transportation and a valid driver’s license
- Comfortable driving to events throughout the Bay Area and Sacramento area
- Weekend and evening availability
- Dependable, punctual, and responsible
- Friendly personality with good customer service skills
- Able to work independently and follow directions
- Comfortable standing for extended periods
- Able to lift and move event supplies/equipment
- Must maintain a clean and professional appearance
This position is ideal for someone looking for flexible part-time work who enjoys working at weddings, parties, and special events.
Pay: From $140.00 per day
