Description:
The Quality Control / Process Testing Technician is responsible for monitoring and analyzing chemical processing solutions, performing required testing and inspections, and ensuring compliance with internal procedures and applicable industry specifications. This role supports manufacturing quality, process control, and continuous improvement through testing, inspection, documentation, and troubleshooting activities.

Monitor solution analysis and adjust as needed

Perform chem film periodic tests including salt spray and adhesion tests

Maintain solution control logs

Review and analyze test results for trends
-
Perform testing on furnaces and ovens

Create test reports
-
Maintain required testing supplies (thermocouples, etc)

Hardness Testing
-
Welding inspection
-
Visual brazing inspection
-
Troubleshooting
-
Other duties as assigned
Requirements:
- High School Diploma or GED required
-
Associates Degree in a technical area such as Chemistry preferred

Knowledge of chemistry as it relates to chemicals used

Preferred minimum 5 years experience

Successful completion of required training

Solid understanding of chemistry relating to alkaline and acid solutions

Ability to understand job order paperwork including Routers and Bill of Materials (BOM)

Knowledge of different types of aluminum materials and tempers
-
Knowledge of titration techniques

Ability to complete solution and periodic testing
-
Ability to prepare test samples for lab testing
-
Knowledge of AMS 2750 Pyrometry

Ability to use Microsoft Office
-
Ability to use M2M screens
