ROLE AND RESPONSIBILITIES
The role of a technician requires a high level of attention to detail, effective communication, and familiarity with technical tools. Candidates must be able to handle multiple projects, deliver work efforts that meet the highest quality standards, and be able to work with minimal supervision. In addition, you will be expected to:
- Know your schedule in advance and work the hours in which you are scheduled
- Understand and demonstrate knowledge of repairs in the areas of Apple and Android devices
- Be comfortable executing digitizer repairs, LCD repairs, computer repairs, tablet repairs, and other electronic devices, etc.
- Provide any changes in your schedule and availability to your manager with at least 2 weeks advance notice
- Follow all company policies and procedures
- Complete all tasks listed on the Daily Task Checklist
- Use computer access to clock in and out and check company emails
- Handle customer repairs in a timely manner
- Respect company and customer property
- Provide excellent customer service at all times
- Make sure phone calls and leads are constantly updated throughout the day with specific notes for each customer and situation
- Update RepairDesk with extensive detail throughout the process of a repair so that any employee may look up the customer and know exactly what was done and how long it took to complete
- Strive to constantly improve skills
- Effectively communicate the repair process and updates to customers
- Demonstrate a high level of motivation
- Be confident and able to multi-task when working alone in the store at certain times
- Be comfortable upselling accessories, services, etc. to customers to help build the store sales
- Maintain a clean and organized workspace
- Be prepared to handle unsatisfied customers and treat the situation with professionalism until a manager can resolve the issue
