Fluid Marine is seeking Boat Assembly Technicians for our rigid hull boat manufacturing facility in Franklinton, NC. The ideal candidate will prepare, build, and assemble boats and boat components, have mechanical knowledge, and have previously used hand tools in environments such as auto mechanics, carpentry, machine repair and service or construction.
SKILLS
- Be able to use hand tools and other process related equipment.
- Have mechanical aptitude and analytical skills for problem solving and decision making.
- Be efficient, able to stay on task, and a team player, and have solid listening skills.
- Ability to be on your feet for most of the workday and perform repetitive tasks in a non-climate controlled environment.
- Be able to life 50 pounds.
- Be able to keep a clean and tidy work station.
- Have a high school diploma or GED.
Responsibilities may include:
- Spray painting
- Making wire harnesses
- Console assembly
- Electronics installation
- Engine rigging
- Electronics rigging
- Unloading boats from shipping containers
- Preparing boats for delivery
- Driving a forklift
- Performing other duties as required by management
Pay: $22.00 - $26.00 per hour
