Gainesville, GA · Full-time · $15.00–$18.00 per hour
We hire for people skills. We'll teach you the repair work.
We can train almost anyone to replace a screen. What we can't train is being genuinely good with a customer who walks in stressed, out of a phone, and having a bad day. That's the job. The technical skills come after, on the clock, at our expense.
We run three repair shops- Dawsonville, Gainesville, and Flowery Branch.
What you'd be doing
This is a front-of-house role first and a technical one second. You run the counter, and you grow into the repair work over time.
- Greet customers and be their main point of contact from drop-off through pickup
- Check in devices, run intake inspections, and document what's wrong
- Explain the repair process, timing, and cost in plain language
- Handle basic troubleshooting
- Keep service tickets accurate and up to date
- Coordinate with the repair techs so jobs move on schedule
- Help keep the shop organized and running smoothly
- Attach accessory sales/upsell repairs
- Learn repair skills on the job and work toward Certified Technician
Schedule
Our shops are open Monday–Saturday, 10am–7pm. This is a full-time position and Saturdays are part of the regular schedule.
What we're looking for
Required
- Strong with people — you can stay calm, friendly, and clear with a frustrated customer
- Reliable and on time — this matters to us more than experience does
- Careful and detail-oriented, especially with small parts and close-up work
- Able to be on your feet for most of a shift
- Available to work Saturdays
- Reliable transportation
Nice to have
- Customer service, retail, or food service experience
- Any hands-on interest in electronics, building things, or fixing things
Training and growth
You'll learn repair work on the clock — starting with the basics and taking on more as you show you've got it. Once you reach Certified Technician, you become eligible for commission and bonuses on top of your hourly pay.
From there the path is Certified Technician → Senior Technician → Store Manager. With three locations, those are real openings rather than hypothetical ones — most of our current leads came up exactly this way.
Pay and benefits
- $15.00–$18.00 per hour, depending on experience
- Commission and bonus eligibility once certified
- Paid on-the-job training and certification
How we work
Small team, busy shop. We're clear about what we expect, we fix problems instead of assigning blame, and we back each other up so every customer gets the same experience. Accountability, integrity, and high energy are a must.
