Responsibilities
- Prepare and serve a diverse selection of beverages, including cocktails, wine, beer, and spirits, following established recipes and standards.
- Engage with guests in a friendly, professional manner to create a lively and enjoyable atmosphere.
- Manage bar inventory, restock supplies, and ensure cleanliness and organization of the bar area.
- Process cash transactions accurately using POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS, handling cash and credit payments efficiently.
- Develop new beverage recipes and contribute to menu innovation by applying knowledge of mixology and beverage trends.
- Maintain food safety standards by adhering to proper food handling procedures and sanitation protocols.
- Collaborate with restaurant staff to coordinate service during busy hours, ensuring seamless guest experiences.
Qualifications
- Proven experience in bartending or food service roles within hospitality or restaurant environments.
- Strong knowledge of POS systems including Aloha POS and Micros POS for processing transactions.
- Extensive cocktail experience with a solid understanding of mixology techniques and beverage recipe development.
- Familiarity with wine knowledge, craft beer, spirits, and beverage trends in fine dining or nightlife settings.
- Excellent customer service skills with the ability to engage guests warmly while managing multiple tasks efficiently.
- Ability to manage time effectively during high-volume periods; strong organizational skills are essential.
- Experience with food safety standards, food handling, and sanitation practices in the hospitality industry.
