House of Esthetics Chicago is a luxury boutique skincare studio in the heart of Lakeview. We're not a spa chain and we're not a med spa — we're a small, detail-obsessed team that builds long-term relationships with clients through results-driven treatments in a calm, elevated environment. We carry professional-grade product lines, and every guest gets a personalized plan, not a script.
New grads and newly licensed estheticians are encouraged to apply. We will train the right person. What we can't teach is showing up on time, taking ownership, and caring about the work — so that's what we're screening for first.
What You'll Do
- Perform customized facials, chemical peels, dermaplaning, and extractions
- Perform lash lifts and lash tinting
- Perform brow services — shaping, tinting, and lamination
- Perform body and facial hair removal using sugaring.
- Complete thorough client consultations and skin analyses, and build treatment plans that get real results
- Recommend home-care regimens and retail products with confidence (no hard selling — just honest expertise)
- Maintain immaculate treatment rooms, sanitation, and Illinois-required infection control standards at all times
- Manage your own book in Vagaro: bookings, notes, forms, and rebooking
- Rebook clients and drive membership enrollment
- Contribute to the studio's social content when you're comfortable doing so (treatment clips, before/afters)
- Open and close the studio independently

This is a small studio. You'll often be the only person here, which means we need someone we can trust completely.

- Independent. You can run your day without being managed — handle your book, your room, your clients, and your close-out on your own.
- Coachable. You take feedback well and want to get better at your craft.
- Warm and professional. Our guests come back for the person as much as the treatment.
Requirements
- Current, active Illinois Esthetician license (required — please include your license number or be ready to provide it)
- Comfortable with technology (Vagaro, digital intake forms, POS)
Preferred, Not Required
- Prior treatment room experience
- Experience with peels, dermaplaning, lash lifts, brow shaping and lamination, or sugaring
