MORNING COACH ONLY!
We are looking to bring in a morning coach who is fully responsible for running morning class times (either 1 or 2 60 min classes before people go off to work). We offer the programming and access to our community, for the right individual.
We are seeking a dynamic and energetic Strength and Conditioning Coach to lead and inspire athletes and fitness enthusiasts in achieving their peak performance. In this role, you will design innovative training programs, deliver expert coaching, and foster a motivating environment that emphasizes safety, technique, and progress. Your expertise will help clients optimize their physical potential, prevent injuries, and develop sustainable fitness habits. Duties
- Develop personalized strength and conditioning programs tailored to athletes’ goals, sport-specific demands, and individual needs.
- Lead group fitness sessions, personal training appointments, and sports coaching clinics with enthusiasm and professionalism.
- Demonstrate proper exercise techniques, ensuring correct body mechanics and safe manual handling practices to prevent injury.
- Monitor clients’ progress through assessments, adjusting programs accordingly to maximize results.
- Educate clients on biomechanics, physiology, anatomy, and body mechanics to promote informed training decisions.
- Operate AED (Automated External Defibrillator) devices during emergencies and maintain CPR certification to ensure safety at all times.
- Collaborate with sports teams, health clubs, or fitness centers to enhance program development and deliver impactful coaching sessions.
Qualifications
- Proven experience in fitness center environments or health clubs with a strong background in strength training instruction.
- Knowledge of biomechanics, physiology, anatomy, and body mechanics essential for designing effective programs.
- Certification in CPR and AED operation required; additional first aid certification is preferred.
- Demonstrated coaching ability in group fitness settings or sports environments.
- Familiarity with weight handling in the workplace and manual handling techniques for safe equipment use.
- Strong teaching skills with the ability to motivate diverse populations of all ages and skill levels.
- Experience in program development for strength training, sports conditioning, or personal training is highly desirable.
