General Description
The Order Picker is responsible for accurately and efficiently selecting and preparing orders for shipment, ensuring all products are correctly packed and ready for distribution. This role involves working in a fast-paced warehouse environment where attention to detail, speed, and accuracy are essential.
Stellar Services LLC is currently seeking both part-time and full-time Order Pickers. Full-time and part-time employees will be provided with a consistent, set schedule between Monday and Thursday.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
- Accurately pick and pack customer orders in a timely manner.
- Ensure all orders are filled correctly, matching products to order details.
- Support team members with training on pick line procedures when needed.
- Unpack and organize products in designated holding areas.
- Assist with inventory counts and restocking shelves as required.
- Handle returned products and ensure they are correctly placed in inventory.
- Break down cardboard and packaging materials between orders.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area, adhering to safety standards.
- Follow all line procedures and safety protocols.
- Work with minimal supervision while maintaining high standards of productivity.
- Assist with other warehouse tasks or projects as assigned by the Supervisor or Manager.
Physical Requirements and Working Conditions
- While performing the duties of this job, the employee will need to stand, walk, use hands, reach, stoop, kneel, talk, and hear.
- Occasionally required to sit.
- Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs and remain on their feet for up to 10 hours.
- Operate various warehouse equipment including heat sealers, hand carts, pallet jacks, knives, and other tools as necessary.
