Job Summary:
The Retail Manager - GRIDIRON gathers and analyzes customer needs and sales trends, defines product vision and requirements, and drives the execution of products and new features from concept, through production, to launch. Lead the GRIDIRON team to create exceptional customer service, ensure company sales initiatives are being executed with greatness, and create an excellent partnership with our customers. A focus on sales growth and order management will be key to success in this role. This role works cross-functionally with engineering, design, marketing, and sales, to ensure the product meets market demands and business goals.
Essential Functions:

Supervise and support GRIDIRON team members to ensure efficient and effective daily operations.

Lead the GRIDIRON team to foster a strong, positive work environment through clear communication, accountability, and follow-up.

Maintain strong communication with GRIDIRON team members, manufacturing teams, and customers.

Communicate dealer needs to leadership and serve as a voice for the GRIDIRON team.

Plan, coordinate, and adjust production schedules to meet operational goals and deadlines.

Monitor workflow and productivity to ensure production and operational targets are achieved.

Track actual spending versus budgeted amounts on a regular basis.

Facilitate regular budget review meetings with leadership, presenting updated financial reports, projections, and insights.

Responsible for developing the annual budget and setting monthly financial targets, achieving an annual revenue target of $1M.

Monitor inventory levels, analyze sales data, and coordinate with suppliers to ensure timely replenishment.

Maintain an organized and accurate inventory system, conducting regular stock checks.

Enforce safety policies and procedures to maintain a safe working environment.

Ensure quality standards are consistently met through inspections and process adherence.

Address operational issues and escalate concerns as needed to minimize disruptions.

Drive continuous improvement initiatives focused on cost control and operational efficiency.

Communicate product requirements, updates, and expectations to vendors.

Negotiate pricing, lead times, and terms in coordination with purchasing or management.

Assist in resolving product discrepancies, quality issues, or vendor-related concerns.

Drive improvements to inventory systems and processes.

Drive sales by setting vision for the GRIDIRON team, developing sales action plans, and supporting company sales initiatives.

Track, organize, and maintain accurate retail sales records to ensure clear customer communication.

Stay current on supply, demand, seasonal changes, and market trends.

Collaborate with management to create effective product displays in retail locations to maximize sales.

Review and update weekly social media and website advertising content.

Ensure all sales paperwork is completed accurately and on time, resolving issues as they arise.

Communicate dealer needs with leadership and be a voice for the GRIDIRON team.

Lead a Mission driven team and/or function to meet or exceed organizational goals while creating an environment where people can be great at what they do and proud of what they have done.

Qualifications and Skills:

Proven management and leadership experience.

Strong ability to analyze sales data and track performance against goals.

Experience developing and executing sales plans.

Demonstrated ability to mentor and coach sales team members.

Strong communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills.

Excellent organizational skills with the ability to manage inventory and sales processes.

Associate or bachelor’s degree preferred, or equivalent combination of education and experience.

Industrial sales experience preferred.

Previous retail sales experience, preferably in automotive, heavy equipment, truck, or trailer industries.

Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and basic web content management systems.

Experience with perpetual inventory systems; BlackPurl experience preferred.

Proactive, customer-focused mindset with a commitment to exceeding expectations.

Ability to bend, stoop, twist, and lift regarding GRIDIRON components.

Ability to work flexible schedules including weekends.

Ability to work in all weather conditions on retail trailer lots.
