Job Title: Industrial Maintenance Mechanic / Service Technician (Part-Time)
About the Role
We are seeking a skilled Industrial Maintenance Mechanic / Service Technician to join a leading polymer manufacturing facility. In this role, you will be responsible for maintaining, troubleshooting, and servicing specialized processing equipment—specifically rubber extruders, injection molding machines, and two-roll mills.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform routine preventive maintenance, troubleshooting, and repairs on industrial polymer processing machinery.
- Service and maintain rubber extruders, injection molding equipment, and two-roll mills.
- Identify mechanical issues quickly to minimize production downtime.
- Ensure all machinery operates safely and meets compliance standards.
- Collaborate with production operators to troubleshoot operational issues as they arise.
Requirements & Qualifications
- Proven mechanical experience working with rubber extruders, injection molding machines, and two-roll mills.
- Strong background in industrial mechanical systems and polymer/rubber manufacturing equipment.
- Ability to work a morning schedule starting at 6:00 AM, Monday through Friday.
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- High school diploma or equivalent (vocational or technical certifications are a plus).
Schedule & Compensation
- Pay: $24.00/hour
- Pay Frequency: Weekly
- Hours: Part-Time (20+ hours/week to start)
- Schedule: Monday – Friday, 6:00 AM start time
