Job Description
Datapoint is seeking a Survey Instrument Technician that can assist in executing land title, civil design, topo, tree, ALTA/ACSM, and boundary surveys. Past survey experience is preferred, but not required. This is a great entry-level position for those with a good work ethic and interest in the land surveying industry who would appreciate the opportunity to join, learn, and develop with our growing team!
Required Qualifications:
- Valid DL with clean driving history
- Prompt and accountable
- Willingness to learn and work well in a team setting
- Familiarity with electronics & precision instrumentation
- Basic knowledge of the land survey profession
- Must be able to safely work outside in potentially extreme weather conditions
- Flexible schedule to handle heavy workloads as needed
- Ability to travel daily and occasionally overnight
Desirable Qualifications:
- 3+ years of survey experience
- Prior experience with Trimble Access
- Prior experience with Trimble GNSS and total station equipment
- Prior experience with SX10, SX12, X7, or X9 LiDAR scanning equipment
- Flexible schedule for out of town projects and periods of heavy workload
