Join our dynamic team as a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA), where you will play a pivotal role in delivering high-quality behavioral services to children and individuals with developmental disabilities, including autism spectrum disorders. As a BCBA, you will lead behavioral assessments, develop individualized treatment plans, and supervise behavior intervention programs. Responsibilities
- Conduct comprehensive behavioral psychological assessments and functional assessments to identify client needs and strengths.
- Develop, implement, and monitor individualized treatment plans based on diagnostic evaluations and data collection.
- Lead and supervise behavior intervention sessions, ensuring adherence to ABA principles and best practices.
- Collect, analyze, and document data meticulously to track client progress and inform treatment adjustments.
- Provide training and ongoing supervision to Registered Behavior Technicians (RBTs) and support staff working directly with clients.
- Collaborate with families, caregivers, educators, and medical professionals to coordinate care plans and facilitate consistent interventions.
- Maintain accurate medical documentation, medical records, intake forms, and ensure compliance with HIPAA regulations for patient confidentiality.
- Conduct behavioral health evaluations for individuals with neurodevelopmental disorders and support diagnostic processes related to autism spectrum disorders.
- Participate in interdisciplinary team meetings to review patient assessments, progress reports, and treatment outcomes.
- Support clients during home visits or community-based sessions, applying specialized knowledge of medical terminology and behavioral health principles.
Qualifications
- Certification as a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) or eligible for certification; current certification required.
- Demonstrated experience working with children or individuals with developmental disabilities, especially autism spectrum disorders.
- Strong background in applied behavior analysis (ABA), behavioral therapy techniques, and functional assessment methods.
- Proven ability to collect detailed data accurately during therapy sessions and analyze results effectively.
- Experience conducting behavioral psychological assessments and diagnostic evaluations for neurodevelopmental disorders.
- Knowledge of medical terminology, medical documentation standards, and HIPAA compliance related to patient records.
- Previous home-based behavioral experience is highly desirable; familiarity with working in diverse settings is a plus.
- Excellent communication skills for collaborating with families, caregivers, educators, and healthcare professionals.
- Ability to manage multiple cases efficiently while maintaining attention to detail in documentation.
