Responsibilities
- Lead and supervise a team of lawn care and landscaping technicians, ensuring safety, quality, and efficiency on every project
- Operate and drive trucks with trailers to transport tools, equipment, and crew members to multiple job sites
- Perform landscape maintenance tasks such as mowing, trimming, planting, pruning, and irrigation system installation or repair
- Oversee the execution of landscaping projects including gardening, tree care, and horticultural enhancements
- Maintain equipment and vehicles regularly to ensure optimal performance and safety standards are met
- Coordinate with clients and team members to schedule work efficiently while providing excellent customer service
- Ensure compliance with safety protocols and company policies during all operations
Requirements
- Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record; experience driving trucks with trailers is required
- Proven supervising experience in landscape maintenance or related fields such as construction or gardening
- Strong knowledge of landscape maintenance, lawn care techniques, irrigation systems, tree care, and horticulture practices
- Ability to lead a team effectively while managing multiple projects simultaneously
- Physical stamina to perform outdoor work in various weather conditions; familiarity with gardening tools and maintenance equipment
- Excellent communication skills for coordinating with team members and clients
- A proactive attitude with a focus on safety, quality workmanship, and customer satisfaction
