Job Overview
We are seeking a dynamic and highly skilled Commercial Electrical Service Manager to lead our commercial service department. This position requires a motivated leader who can build strong customer relationships, prepare accurate cost proposals, manage multiple field crews, and oversee projects from start to finish. The ideal candidate is organized, customer-focused, and experienced in commercial electrical service operations.
Responsibilities
- Meet with commercial customers to evaluate service needs and develop accurate cost proposals and estimates.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with new and existing customers.
- Schedule, supervise, and support multiple electrical service crews.
- Manage projects from initial proposal through completion, ensuring quality, safety, and profitability.
- Order materials and coordinate deliveries to keep projects on schedule.
- Monitor labor, material costs, and project budgets.
- Communicate project updates with customers, field personnel, and office staff.
- Ensure all work complies with applicable electrical codes, company standards, and safety regulations.
- Resolve customer concerns promptly and professionally.
- Identify opportunities for additional services and business growth.
Qualifications
- Minimum of 10 years of experience in commercial electrical service or project management.
- Strong knowledge of commercial electrical systems and installation practices.
- Experience preparing estimates and cost proposals.
- Proven ability to manage multiple projects and crews simultaneously.
- Excellent communication and customer service skills.
- Strong organizational and time management abilities.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office and estimating/project management software is preferred.
- Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
