Duties
- Greet customers warmly and provide attentive service throughout their visit
- Process retail sales transactions accurately using POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS
- Prepare a variety of non-alcoholic beverages, including teas, coffees, and specialty drinks, ensuring quality and presentation standards are met
- Handle cash and card payments efficiently while maintaining accurate cash handling procedures
- Maintain cleanliness of the café area, including food handling stations, beverage prep zones, and customer seating spaces
- Restock supplies regularly to ensure smooth operation during busy hours
- Assist in food safety practices by following proper food handling and hygiene protocols
- Support team members with food preparation tasks when needed to enhance overall service flow
Requirements
- Prior experience in food service or café environments is highly preferred, especially barista experience(not required) or beverage service skills
- Familiarity with POS systems for retail transactions
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate clearly and positively with guests
- Basic math skills for processing cash transactions and managing retail math calculations
- Knowledge of food safety standards and proper food handling procedures
- Excellent time management skills to prioritize tasks effectively during peak hours
- Ability to stand, walk, and perform cleaning duties for extended periods comfortably
- Experience in tea making or beverage preparation is a plus but not mandatory; training will be provided
