Job Summary
We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Licensed Customs Broker to join our dynamic logistics team. Responsibilities
- Prepare and review customs documentation, including import/export declarations, tariffs, and regulatory reports, ensuring accuracy and compliance with all applicable laws.
- Coordinate with freight forwarders, carriers, and government agencies to facilitate timely clearance of shipments.
- Stay current on OSHA (Occupational Safety and Health Administration) standards, FDA (Food and Drug Administration) regulations, and other relevant compliance requirements affecting international trade.
- Manage regulatory reporting obligations related to customs activities, trade compliance, and risk management initiatives.
- Oversee transportation management processes, including fleet management and logistics planning to optimize delivery schedules.
- Conduct risk assessments related to customs procedures and implement strategies to mitigate potential delays or violations.
- Maintain detailed report writing records for audits, compliance reviews, and internal assessments to ensure transparency and accountability.
Qualifications
- Valid license as a Customs Broker with proven experience in customs clearance procedures.
- Strong knowledge of logistics, supply chain management, freight operations, and transportation management systems.
- Familiarity with OSHA safety standards and FDA regulations impacting imported goods.
- Experience in regulatory reporting, compliance management, and risk mitigation strategies within international trade.
- Excellent report writing skills with attention to detail for documentation accuracy.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining high standards of compliance.

Pay: $80,000.00 - $120,000.00 per year
