We're looking for a detail-oriented, organized, and empathetic Paralegal/Case Manager to join our growing team.
As our Paralegal/Case Manager, you will be the backbone of our case files from intake through resolution. You'll manage a caseload of personal injury matters, serve as a primary point of contact for clients, coordinate with medical providers and insurance adjusters, and support the attorney with the preparation of demands, pleadings, and discovery. Key Responsibilities
- Manage a caseload of personal injury files from intake through settlement or litigation referral
- Serve as the primary client contact, providing regular case status updates and answering questions with professionalism and empathy
- Request, track, and organize medical records, bills, police reports, and other case documentation
- Communicate with medical providers regarding treatment status and liens
- Correspond with insurance adjusters to negotiate property damage claims
- Draft and prepare demand packages, settlement statements, and correspondence
- Calculate and track medical liens, subrogation claims, and settlement disbursements
- Maintain accurate, up-to-date case management software records
- Monitor statutes of limitations and key case deadlines
- Prepare files for litigation and coordinate with counsel or co-counsel as needed
- Support the intake process for new client cases as needed
Qualifications
- 2+ years of experience as a paralegal or case manager, preferably in personal injury or plaintiff-side litigation
- Strong understanding of the personal injury claims process
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Highly organized with strong attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple case files simultaneously
- Proficient Microsoft Office Suite
- Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively with attorneys and staff
- Compassionate, client-focused approach to working with individuals who have experienced injury or loss
- Bilingual in English and Spanish required (written and verbal fluency)
