Line Cook - Hotel Food & Beverage Department

Job Summary
We are seeking a reliable, motivated, and experienced Line Cook to join our hotel Food & Beverage team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for preparing high-quality food while maintaining cleanliness, organization, and food safety standards in a fast-paced hotel environment.
Responsibilities
- Prepare and cook menu items according to recipes and hotel standards.
- Set up and stock stations with all necessary supplies.
- Ensure food quality, presentation, and portion control standards are met.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and sanitary work area at all times.
- Follow all food safety, sanitation, and health department regulations.
- Properly label, store, and rotate food products.
- Monitor inventory levels and communicate shortages to supervisors.
- Assist with receiving and storing deliveries.
- Work collaboratively with the kitchen and service teams to ensure excellent guest experiences.
- Support breakfast, lunch, dinner, banquet, and special event operations as needed.
Qualifications
- Previous experience as a Line Cook, Prep Cook, or similar role preferred.
- Hotel, restaurant, or banquet experience is a plus.
- Knowledge of food safety and sanitation procedures, Food Handlers Certificate
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong attention to detail and teamwork skills.
- Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 50 pounds.
- Flexible availability, including weekends and holidays.
