Overview
Join our dynamic team as a Hybrid Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) in Maryland, where you will play a pivotal role in delivering high-quality behavioral health services to children and individuals with developmental disabilities. This hybrid position offers the flexibility of working both remotely and in-person, empowering you to make a meaningful impact while maintaining a balanced work environment. As a BCBA, you will develop, implement, and oversee individualized treatment plans rooted in applied behavior analysis (ABA), ensuring each client receives tailored support that fosters growth and independence. Duties
- Conduct comprehensive behavioral assessments and diagnostic evaluations to identify client needs and develop personalized intervention strategies.
- Design, implement, and monitor evidence-based ABA treatment plans for individuals with autism and other developmental disabilities.
- Collect, analyze, and document data meticulously to track progress, adjust interventions, and ensure compliance with clinical standards.
- Provide supervision and training to behavior technicians and support staff to maintain high-quality service delivery.
- Collaborate with families, caregivers, educators, and multidisciplinary teams to coordinate care plans and ensure consistency across settings.
- Manage intake procedures, including initial assessments and medical documentation, while adhering to HIPAA regulations for patient privacy.
- Maintain accurate medical records, treatment notes, and documentation of patient care activities in accordance with legal and ethical guidelines.
Skills
- Extensive knowledge of behavioral therapy techniques, especially applied behavior analysis (ABA).
- Proven experience working with children and individuals with developmental disabilities or autism spectrum disorder.
- Strong skills in data collection methods, patient assessment, and progress tracking.
- Familiarity with medical terminology, medical records management, and HIPAA compliance standards.
- Ability to perform diagnostic evaluations and conduct intake assessments effectively.
- Excellent patient care skills with a compassionate approach tailored to diverse needs.
