Overview
Buffalo Academy of the Sacred Heart's Advancement Associate for Fundraising will focus on revenue generation efforts, including Annual Loyalty Fund appeals and special events. As a vital part of the Advancement team, this role will work collaboratively with all members of the Advancement Department, Head of School, Director of Communications, and other departments to execute goals associated with the position.
Duties and Responsibilities
Annual Loyalty Fund Management (35%)
- Collaborate with the Advancement team to support fundraising efforts, including Annual Loyalty Fund, planned giving, and scholarship fund development.
- With the Communication Coordinator, Head of School, and Director of Advancement, draft text for Annual Fund Appeals.
- In coordination with the Communication Coordinator, manage the communication calendar for Annual Loyalty Fund activities.
- With the Advancement Associate for Database, monitor annual giving monthly and coordinate thank-you calls and re-solicitation as needed.
Special Event Coordination (30%)
- Manage logistics and revenue streams for Sandstone Dinner Auction (Sandstone), Walkathon, and Sister Maria Pares Golf Tournament (Golf).
- Solicit and steward sponsorship for Sandstone, Walkathon, and Golf.
- Develop and steward volunteer committees for Sandstone and Golf with the objective of achieving financial goals associated with each event.
- In coordination with the Communication Director, create communication schedules, print materials, and electronic content to promote and support Sandstone, Walkathon, and Golf.
Relationship Management (20%)
- Manage a portfolio of 20 to 30 donors who are being stewarded to increased engagement.
- Utilize CRM tools to record interactions and anecdotal information related to constituents.
Strategic Data Management (15%)
- Work with the Advancement Associate for Data to design and generate reports that show fundraising progress and opportunities.
- Work with the Advancement Associate for Data to build and segment communication lists for initiatives.
- Utilize CRM tools to keep constituent data up to date and accurate.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree; preference for business, marketing, or non-profit management
- Five+ years of experience in outward-facing fundraising positions, with preference for experience in campaign management and/or pipeline management
- Track record of success in goal-oriented roles
- Proficiency in digital marketing tools and platforms, social media, content management, email marketing, SMS, and CRM systems
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Collaborative work style
- Ability to work outside traditional office hours as needed

Pay: $50,000.00 - $60,000.00 per year
