Libertyville Massage Therapy has been in business in downtown Libertyville for over 40 years! We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Massage Therapist with at least 5 years experience to join our team. In this role, you will provide therapeutic massage therapy services to clients, helping them alleviate pain, reduce stress, and enhance overall well-being. The ideal candidate will possess a strong understanding of anatomy and physiology, along with the ability to assess patient needs and deliver personalized treatment plans.
Duties
- Perform a variety of massage techniques including deep tissue massage, trigger point therapy, and pain management strategies.
- Conduct thorough patient assessments to determine individual needs and tailor treatments accordingly.
- Maintain a clean and organized treatment environment to ensure client comfort and safety.
- Provide exceptional customer service by building rapport with clients and addressing their concerns effectively.
- Stay updated on industry trends and advancements in massage therapy techniques.
- Document client progress and treatment outcomes accurately.
Requirements
- Valid IL license in massage therapy.
- General Liability insurance
- Strong knowledge of anatomy and physiology related to massage therapy.
- Experience in deep tissue, trigger point therapy, or other specialties is beneficial
- Excellent client service skills with a focus on customer satisfaction.
- Ability to communicate effectively with clients regarding treatments.
- Commitment to maintaining confidentiality and professionalism at all times.
- Flexibility to work various shifts as needed.
Preferred Skills:
- Being on time and reliable
- Good attitude and positive energy, and always treating customers with utmost care and respect
- Additional modalities a plus, such as Manual lymphatic drainage, cupping, hot stone, and prenatal massages
