We are seeking an experienced Facilities Supervisor to oversee the maintenance, repair, and operation of our manufacturing facility, including buildings, grounds, equipment, and utility systems. This position leads the Maintenance and Sanitation teams and ensures facilities operate safely, efficiently, and in compliance with applicable regulatory requirements.
Lead and coordinate Maintenance and Sanitation Department activities, including hiring, training, scheduling, performance management, and employee development.
Manage building systems including mechanical, electrical, plumbing, HVAC, safety, waste management, and utility systems.
Develop and maintain preventive maintenance programs, policies, and procedures.
Ensure fire sprinklers, pumps, racks, and other building components are properly maintained, permitted, and compliant.
Oversee maintenance work orders, contractors, and facility renovation projects while managing budgets and timelines.
Ensure facilities, production areas, and grounds remain in good repair and comply with FDA, NSF, and other applicable regulations.
Coordinate with engineering, quality, management, and Sunrider affiliates in China, Taiwan, Singapore, and Malaysia on facility standards and maintenance initiatives.
Identify opportunities to improve operations, reduce costs, and optimize labor and materials.
Collaborate with engineering on equipment needs, modifications, and new product plans.
Resolve maintenance and operational issues and recommend improvements to equipment and facility conditions.
Associate degree in Engineering or a related technical field or 5+ years of relevant experience/training, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
Experience supervising maintenance or facilities teams in a manufacturing environment preferred.
Strong knowledge of building systems, maintenance practices, safety standards, and regulatory compliance.
Excellent problem-solving, communication, organizational, and leadership skills.
Proficiency with spreadsheets, word processing, database, manufacturing, and project management software.
Electrical Contractor’s License is a plus; forklift certification may be required.
This is an on-site position in a manufacturing environment. The role requires frequent standing, walking, reaching, and use of hands, with occasional climbing, kneeling, crouching, and lifting up to 50 pounds. The employee may be exposed to moving equipment, airborne particles, electrical hazards, chemicals, wet conditions, and varying temperatures.
