Responsibilities
As a Ford Automotive Technician, you will:
- Diagnose and repair Ford cars, trucks, SUVs, and commercial vehicles
- Perform maintenance and mechanical repairs according to Ford standards
- Complete engine, transmission, suspension, steering, brake, electrical, and drivability repairs
- Perform accurate vehicle inspections and identify needed maintenance and repairs
- Use Ford diagnostic equipment and service information to properly diagnose vehicle concerns
- Complete repairs efficiently while maintaining a high level of quality
- Document diagnostic findings and repair recommendations clearly
- Communicate effectively with service advisors and parts personnel
- Maintain an organized and professional work area
- Follow all dealership, manufacturer, and safety procedures
- Maintain high standards for productivity, quality, and customer satisfaction
Qualifications
We are looking for candidates with:
- Previous automotive technician experience
- Ford dealership experience preferred
- Ford STARS certifications preferred
- ASE certifications are a plus
- Strong diagnostic and electrical skills
- Ability to accurately diagnose and repair vehicles
- Strong mechanical aptitude
- Valid driver's license and acceptable driving record
- Ability to work effectively as part of a team
- Positive attitude and strong work ethic
- Commitment to completing repairs correctly the first time
