Overview
Progressive, Pro-Choice Women's Center is seeking dedicated and compassionate Feminist Healthcare Team Member to join our healthcare team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in providing high-quality patient care. This position requires a strong support for women's reproductive freedom and for women's rights as well as an understanding of medical terminology and the ability to work effectively as part of a team. The Feminist Medical Assistant will assist healthcare professionals in various tasks while ensuring a positive patient experience.
Duties
- Assist with patient intake.
- Counseling Women about reproductive choices
- Prepare patients for examinations and procedures
- Perform routine laboratory tests
- Maintain accurate patient records and documentation
- Provide exceptional patient service by addressing questions and concerns
- Support healthcare providers during examinations and treatments
- Ensure the cleanliness and organization of the office.
Experience
Candidates should possess the following skills:
- Kind, caring and compassionate support of women and women's rights
- Experience in outpatient settings preferred
- Proficiency in basic life support techniques
- Strong interpersonal skills for effective patient interaction
- Ability to work collaboratively within a healthcare team
- Medical Assistants preferred

Job Type: Part-time
Pay: $14.00 - $15.00 per hour
Expected hours: 30 – 40 per week
