We are seeking an energetic and dedicated After School Teacher to inspire and engage children in a safe, nurturing, and stimulating environment after school hours. Duties
- Supervise children during after school hours, ensuring their safety and well-being at all times
- Safely transport children to and from school and program-related activities.
- Implement engaging educational activities that support childhood development and early childhood education standards
- Manage classroom behavior using effective behavior management techniques to foster a respectful and inclusive environment
- Assist children with homework, tutoring, or skill-building exercises tailored to their individual needs
- Coordinate recreational activities such as sports coaching, arts, theater, or other extracurricular programs to promote physical activity and creativity
- Communicate regularly with parents or guardians regarding children’s progress, behavior, and any concerns
- Maintain a clean, organized classroom environment that encourages learning and play
Qualifications:
- Strong classroom management skills to maintain discipline while encouraging positive interactions
- Bachelor's Degree required (Education, Child Development, Early Childhood Education, or a related field preferred).
- Minimum of 1 year of experience working with school-age children in a childcare, educational, or recreational setting.
- Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
- Ability to meet all state requirements for operating a childcare bus.
- CPR and First Aid Certification or willingness to obtain.
- Strong classroom management, communication, and organizational skills.
- Ability to work effectively with children, families, and team members.

Pay: $13.00 - $17.00 per hour
