School-Based Speech Language Pathologist (CCC-SLP)
A supportive school district in the Waynesville, MO area is now hiring a licensed Speech Language Pathologist (CCC-SLP) for the upcoming school year. This position will primarily support a K-8th grade caseload consisting of students with speech and language needs, learning disabilities, and autism services. Location: Waynesville, MO
- Employment Type: Full-time, Contract
- Work Hours: 35-40 hours per week
- Assignment Dates: August 2026 – June 2027
- Pay: $50+/hr
Responsibilities
- Provide direct speech and language therapy services to elementary students
- Conduct evaluations, screenings, and assessments to determine student needs
- Develop treatment plans, present levels of performance, and IEP goals
- Participate in IEP meetings and collaborate with teachers, parents, and multidisciplinary teams
- Maintain accurate documentation and ensure compliance with district and state guidelines
- Support students with speech/language impairments, learning disabilities, and autism spectrum disorders
Experience
- Previous school-based experience preferred
Education/Requirements
- Active Missouri Speech Language Pathologist license
- CCC-SLP required
