Responsibilities
- Operate industrial dryers, washers, and other laundry equipment with precision and care
- Sort, load, and unload laundry items while adhering to safety standards in production
- Handle materials carefully, including heavy lifting of linens, clothing, and other textiles
- Maintain cleanliness of laundry areas through regular cleaning and sanitation procedures
- Manage dry cleaning processes when applicable, ensuring proper handling of delicate fabrics
- Follow safety protocols during manual handling and materials transportation to prevent injuries
- Assist with inventory management of laundry supplies and materials to ensure smooth operations
Skills
- Strong knowledge of cleaning techniques and laundry procedures
- Ability to handle heavy lifting safely and efficiently
- Familiarity with industrial dryers, washers, and dry cleaning equipment is preferred
- Experience in hotel or hospitality environments is a plus, demonstrating excellent service standards
- Understanding of safety standards in production environments to maintain a secure workspace
