This position is Part time and will work Monday, Tuesday and Thursday.
Description: This Customer Service Representative position handles a variety of tasks related to inside sales and customer service of the Behlen Country product line and its customers. There is focus on taking calls to answer questions customers may have with regards to their orders, shipments, products, and some technical questions.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Maintain Web portals for customer websites. Upload images and enter necessary data as required.
- Monitor comments and concerns from customer websites on a daily basis.
- Communicate product information and pricing
- Communicate specifications, animal use, as well as benefits of the Behlen Country products
- Communicate order status, estimated delivery schedules, and feasibility of add-ons.
- Handle end user calls for recommendations and warranty issues.
- Dealer/customer telephone sales and customer service daily
- Processing of credit memos
- Maintain customer database and entry into Salesforce
- Prepare correspondence and quotations for the various products and customers as required
- Represent Behlen Country and Behlen Mfg. Co. at tradeshows or customer meetings as necessary
- Transmit customer order acknowledgements, PODs, or invoices as necessary
- Practice safe working habits and follow safety policy, procedures and Job Safety Analysis (JSA).
- Ability to work towards continuous improvement of product quality and ISO 9001:2015.
QUALIFICATIONS:
- 2-year degree preferred
- Strong telephone sales skills
- Knowledge of Microsoft Office, including Excel and Word required.
- Experience in setting up product on customers websites.
- Able to handle a fast-paced team environment
- Good communication and writing skills.
- Self-motivated with a strong desire for self-improvement through education and training.
