Are you organized, creative, and energized by bringing events to life? We are seeking a motivated Temporary Event Coordinator to support the planning and execution of engaging events that create memorable experiences for our members and guests.

What You Will Do
As an Event Coordinator, you will play an important role in coordinating successful events by:
- Assisting with the planning, coordination, and execution of events from initial concept through completion.
- Coordinating event logistics, including venue setup, catering, equipment, event materials, and vendor services.
- Event Coordinator manages event timelines, schedules, budgets, and project task lists to ensure deadlines are met.
- Communicating with vendors, suppliers, and internal departments to confirm event details and logistics.
- Preparing event materials, promotional collateral, signage, decorations, and attendee resources.
- Event Coordinator provides on-site event support by troubleshooting issues and ensuring events run smoothly.
- Working closely with team members across multiple departments and branch locations to deliver exceptional service and memorable member experiences.
- Building positive relationships with vendors, colleagues, and members while maintaining a high level of professionalism.
- Learning and promoting the credit union's products, services, and current promotions while adhering to all applicable policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements.
- Performing additional event and administrative support duties as needed.

Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED required.
- External candidates should have a minimum of two years of event planning, event coordination, marketing, hospitality, administrative support, or similar experience.
- Strong organizational, communication, and time management skills.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office and general computer applications.
Physical Requirements
- Ability to work the scheduled assignment, including weekend event coverage on October 10 and 11, 2026.
- Ability to alternate between sitting, standing, and walking throughout the day.
- Frequent use of a computer, keyboard, mouse, and telephone.
- Ability to occasionally lift, carry, push, or pull up to 20 pounds.

Pay Rate: $23.21-$24.65 DOE
