About the Role
As a Fleet Maintenance Specialist, you will serve as a vital technical expert responsible for the reliability and safety of our diverse vehicle fleet. You will leverage your diagnostic expertise to perform complex mechanical repairs and preventive maintenance, ensuring our vehicles consistently meet rigorous safety and operational standards.
Responsibilities-
Execute comprehensive diagnostics and repairs on steering, electrical, cooling, braking, and drivetrain systems to ensure peak vehicle performance.

Perform detailed engine rebuilds and component adjustments in strict alignment with federal and local safety regulations.

Conduct thorough pre-service and post-service test drives to verify repair integrity and address driver-reported concerns.

Install, calibrate, and troubleshoot advanced telematic systems to support fleet tracking and data accuracy.

Manage the full lifecycle of preventive maintenance schedules and unscheduled repairs to minimize vehicle downtime.

Provide responsive support through road calls and field-based repairs as required.

Maintain precise digital records of labor, parts usage, and maintenance history using fleet management software.

Uphold a high-standard, organized, and compliant workspace that adheres to all safety and housekeeping protocols.
Qualifications-
5+ years of hands-on experience in heavy/medium-duty fleet or diesel mechanical repair.

Proven proficiency in computerized diagnostic tools and fleet management documentation systems.

Comprehensive knowledge of DOT compliance and safety standards for commercial vehicles.

Demonstrated ability to manage maintenance scheduling and prioritize repairs effectively.

Possession of a personal set of professional-grade hand tools for heavy-duty maintenance.

Valid Commercial Driver's License (CDL) or the ability to obtain one within 90 days.

ASE Certifications in areas such as brakes, suspension, electrical, or engine repair.

Experience as a Master Truck or School Bus Technician.
