Job Summary
We are seeking a passionate and energetic Daycare Teacher to join our team. In this role, you will create engaging learning experiences, manage classroom activities, and support the developmental needs of children in our care. Your enthusiasm and expertise will help lay a strong foundation for early childhood growth and learning.
Duties
- Develop and implement age-appropriate curriculum that promotes cognitive, social, and emotional development
- Plan and execute daily lesson plans aligned with early childhood education standards
- Foster a positive classroom environment through effective classroom management and behavior guidance
- Support children’s individual needs, including those requiring special education or early intervention services
- Maintain accurate records of child progress, attendance, and developmental milestones
- Ensure compliance with mandated reporting laws and child welfare regulations
- Communicate regularly with parents about their child's progress and classroom activities
Skills
- Strong knowledge of childhood development principles and early intervention strategies
- Experience in curriculum development, literacy education, and preschool teaching methods
- Proficiency in classroom management and behavior management techniques
- Familiarity with standardized testing, lesson planning, and teaching physical education to young children
- Excellent communication skills for engaging with children, parents, and team members
- Ability to work effectively with children across various age groups, including infants, toddlers and preschoolers
Pay: $13.50 - $14.50 per hour
