About the Role
As the Respiratory Therapy & Pulmonary Lab Manager, you'll oversee the daily operations of both departments while providing leadership to supervisors, coordinators, respiratory therapists, and support staff.
You'll play a critical role in:
- Leading and mentoring a high-performing Respiratory Therapy team
- Driving quality improvement and operational excellence
- Managing staffing, scheduling, budgets, and departmental performance
- Ensuring compliance with DNV, CMS, CAP, and other regulatory standards
- Collaborating with physicians, nursing leadership, and hospital administration
- Supporting recruitment, retention, coaching, and employee development
- Maintaining excellence in patient care throughout the Respiratory Department and Pulmonary Function Lab
- Participating in patient care and pulmonary lab services as needed
- Helping develop policies, procedures, and evidence-based clinical practices

What We're Looking For
Required Qualifications
- Credentialed by the National Board for Respiratory Care (NBRC)
- Current Basic Life Support (BLS) Certification
- Strong ICU ventilator management knowledge and clinical expertise
- Excellent communication, leadership, and organizational skills
Preferred Qualifications
- Graduate of an approved AMA Respiratory Therapy program
- Five or more years of Respiratory Therapy experience
- Three or more years of supervisory or healthcare management experience
Equivalent combinations of education and experience will also be considered.
