Kodiak Labor Solutions is seeking experienced Pipefitters for a long-term pipe fabrication shop in Northern Indiana. We are looking for skilled fitters with experience laying out and fitting carbon steel and stainless steel pipe in a fabrication environment. Candidates must be able to read isometric drawings, perform rolling offsets and swing joints, and produce quality fit-ups for welding.

Key Responsibilities
- Read and interpret isometric drawings, blueprints, and piping specifications
- Lay out, fit, and assemble carbon steel and stainless steel pipe
- Measure, cut, bevel, and prepare pipe for welding
- Perform rolling offsets, swing joints, takeoffs, and other pipefitting calculations
- Verify dimensions and ensure proper alignment of fabricated assemblies
- Install flanges, valves, fittings, supports, and related piping components
- Work closely with welders, supervisors, and quality control personnel to meet production goals
- Follow all shop safety procedures
- Maintain a clean and organized work area
Qualifications
- Minimum of 3 years of pipefitting experience required
- Pipe fabrication shop experience preferred, but not required
- Experience fitting carbon steel and stainless steel pipe
- Ability to read and interpret isometric drawings, blueprints, and piping specifications
- Experience laying out and fitting rolling offsets and swing joints
- Strong math, layout, and measuring skills
- Knowledge of fabrication tolerances and quality requirements
- Reliable attendance and strong work ethic
Pay / Schedule
- Day Shift: $38.00 per hour
- Night Shift: $40.00 per hour
- $120.00 per diem per day worked for qualified travelers residing more than 60 miles from the jobsite
- 60 hours per week (6/10s)
