Responsibilities

- Operate kitchen equipment safely and efficiently, including ovens, fryers, mixers, and other appliances.
- Maintain cleanliness of workstations, utensils, and kitchen tools in compliance with food safety standards.
- Follow food handling procedures to ensure safe storage, preparation, and presentation of food items.
- Support menu planning efforts by providing input on ingredient availability and dish presentation.
- Collaborate effectively with kitchen staff to ensure timely delivery of meals during busy service hours.
Skills
- Prior experience in food industry roles such as restaurant or catering environments is highly valued.
- Strong knowledge of food safety management practices and safety standards in production.
- Proficiency in food preparation techniques including slicing, dicing, and cooking methods.
- Experience operating various kitchen equipment safely and efficiently.
- Excellent communication skills for coordinating with team members during service.
- Familiarity with dietary department or dietary aide experience is a plus for accommodating special dietary needs.
- Ability to follow recipes accurately and adhere to meal presentation standards while maintaining high-quality food safety practices.
