The PAVE Trainer & Advocacy Legal Coordinator provides survivor-centered legal advocacy and community education related to domestic violence, sexual assault, stalking, and dating violence. This position supports survivors in navigating the legal system, including Protection From Abuse (PFA) court accompaniment, and delivers training and outreach to community partners. Services are provided in a trauma-informed, confidential, and culturally responsive manner.
Primary Responsibilities:
- Provide legal advocacy services to survivors, including PFA court accompaniment and legal system navigation
- Educate survivors on legal rights, options, and available resources
- Assist with referrals to legal aid, attorneys, and community partners
- Provide community presentations regarding domestic violence, sexual assault, stalking, and dating violence, and how it impacts victims.
- Support facilitation of weekly Healthy Relationship, Parenting, and Financial Empowerment Groups.
- Complete required documentation, data entry, and reporting in Osnium
- Support shelter and program operations as needed
- Oversee evaluation process for Healthy Relationship, Parenting and Financial Empowerment Groups, advocacy services, and community awareness presentations to measure and report on performance outcomes.
- Develop analysis for evaluation and program outcomes.
- Document all services provided on appropriate forms and maintain documentation of accurate and complete written records pertaining to DCF participants.
- Establish and maintain positive collaborative relationships with community social services agencies, law enforcement, and mental health professionals.
- Attend Friends of Yates/Della Gill/Joyce H. Williams Center staff meetings and all other related meetings.

Qualifications:
- Juris Doctor (JD) degree required.
- Demonstrated experience providing legal advocacy and court accompaniment for DV survivors.
- Knowledge of domestic violence, sexual assault, and trauma-informed advocacy.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Strong documentation and computer skills.
- Ability to work with diverse populations.
- Bilingual (Spanish/English) preferred.
- Ability to work flexible hours, including some evenings and weekends.

Pay: $78,000.00 - $82,050.00 per year
