Position Summary
ZLC Corp is seeking an experienced and motivated Working Concrete Foreman to lead field crews while actively participating in daily concrete operations. This position requires hands-on leadership in structural and site concrete work, including forming, rebar coordination, pouring, finishing, demolition, excavation support, and crew supervision. The ideal candidate is a strong leader with extensive field experience, excellent communication skills, and the ability to maintain production, safety, and quality standards on active construction sites.
Key Responsibilities
- Supervise and work alongside concrete crews on daily operations.
- Coordinate manpower, equipment, materials, and subcontractors to maintain project schedules.
- Read and interpret plans, specifications, layouts, and grade elevations.
- Perform and oversee:
- Concrete forming
- Rebar placement coordination
- Concrete pours and finishing
- Footings, slabs, walls, curbs, and sidewalks
- Structural concrete work
- Demo and excavation support as needed
- Ensure all work is performed safely and in compliance with OSHA and company standards.
- Conduct daily safety meetings and enforce PPE requirements.
- Coordinate inspections and communicate with superintendents, project managers, inspectors, and subcontractors.
- Monitor production rates and maintain high-quality workmanship.
- Train and mentor laborers and operators.
- Complete daily reports, timecards, and production tracking.
- Identify and resolve field issues proactively.
- Operate equipment and tools when required.
Qualifications
- Minimum 5 years of concrete construction experience.
- Minimum 2 years of foreman or lead experience preferred.
- Strong knowledge of:
- Structural concrete
- Site concrete
- Formwork systems
- Rebar installation
- Concrete placement and finishing
- Ability to read blueprints and layout work accurately.
- Experience coordinating crews and managing daily production.
- Familiarity with excavation and demolition operations is a plus.
- OSHA 30 certification preferred.
- Valid California driver’s license required.
- Ability to lift 50+ lbs and work in physically demanding outdoor environments.
- Reliable transportation to job sites throughout the Bay Area.

Pay: $40.00 - $45.00 per hour
