Duties
- Perform a wide range of nail services including manicures, gel manicures, pedicures, and acrylic or nail extension applications with precision and artistry
- Apply advanced techniques such as nail art, color theory, and nail enhancements to meet client preferences
- Maintain strict salon safety protocols by adhering to sanitation and disinfection procedures for tools and workstations
- Communicate effectively with clients to understand their needs, recommend suitable treatments, and provide personalized care
- Upsell retail products like nail care items, skincare products, or additional services to enhance client satisfaction and salon revenue
- Stay updated on the latest trends in nail design, techniques, and industry standards through ongoing education
- Ensure a clean, organized workspace that promotes safety and efficiency throughout each shift
Requirements
- Proven experience working as a manicurist or nail technician within the beauty industry
- Knowledge of color theory, nail extensions, gel manicures, acrylic application, and pedicure procedures
- Familiarity with salon safety protocols including sanitation, disinfection procedures, and OSHA regulations
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate clearly and build rapport with diverse clients
- Certification in cosmetology or esthetician licensing as required by local regulations
- Ability to perform detailed work with steady hands while maintaining a friendly attitude
- Experience with retail sales techniques such as upselling and retail math is a plus
- Additional skills in hair styling, eyelash extensions, body waxing, or laser treatments are advantageous but not mandatory

Pay: $1,241.08 - $1,314.90 per week
